Event at the Edge of the World Bookshop, Penzance, 8 July

Posted in Events

On 8 July I headed down to the Edge of the World Bookshop in Penzance to do an evening event  about The Versions of Us – complete with Pimm’s and a posse of very lovely readers – as part of the Penzance Literary Festival.

It was fantastic to head back to Cornwall – a part of the world I visited quite often as a teenager, but haven’t got back down to see in some years. I’d forgotten that particular quality of the light; something that doesn’t seem to exist in quite the same way in any other place I’d visited.

The Edge of the World bookshop, run by the lovely Rachael, is gorgeous – brilliantly stocked, and well worth a visit any time you’re in those parts. Check out its website here: http://edgeoftheworldbookshop.co.uk.
